Chances are that if you see a rumoured OFF-WHITE x Jordan collaboration surfacing across social media you won’t actually get said release dates for another year or longer. It’s no surprise that Virgil Abloh likes to keep the sneaker culture on their toes which ultimately creates an almost unhealthy amount of anticipation between each sneaker release. Whether it’s the anticipation, appreciation of his craft, or potential monetary investment it is a guarantee that each OFF-WHITE x Jordan collaboration will immediately sell out. The “Bred” rendition of the OFF-WHITE x Jordan Retro 4 is set to release sometime this year and could very well be one of Virgil’s best creations.

The Jordan 4 “Bred” is one of the most iconic and recognizable sneakers to ever be created, so it is no shock that Virgil Abloh wouldn’t waste an opportunity to put his name amongst sneaker royalty. Virgil has not shied away from putting his twist on Jordan classics in the past, having very successful collaborations with the Jordan 1, Jordan 5, and Jordan 4. The first iteration of the OFF-WHITE x Jordan 4 was the “Sail” colourway which was immediately welcomed by the sneaker community with open arms- especially due to the fact that it was released in women’s sizing.

Virgil Abloh’s rendition of the Jordan 4 “Bred,” can be expected to be similar in quality in comparison to that of its predecessor the “Sail” colourway- but obviously dressed in sleek black and grey tones with hints of red throughout the sneaker in an ode to the original Jordan 4 “Bred.”

Although there is no set release date, the OFF-WHITE x Jordan 4 “Bred,” is anticipated to release in the Fall of 2021, and if that is the case make sure to put some sneaker funds aside and say your prayers because this sneaker has the potential to sky-rocket through the resell market after its initial release.
